July 1, 2008 The end of the first week included a campfire with skits and a dance on Friday night. Saturday was a musical morning with rehearsals and lessons. The heavy rains started Saturday afternoon, which made for games in the rec hall. The campers got off camp that evening to see the Monster Truck show, a change from normal camp life! On Sunday, the day began with music and reflection time with the entire camp outside on the point. Lake 1 cabin won the first inspection in the late morning. The afternoon was filled with swimming, boating and relaxing. The first student concert with five chamber groups performing was brilliant. About 25 guests were in attendance. The day was rounded out with a beautiful outdoor barbeque. Monday morning was back to rehearsals, as the campers prepare for the next student performance. On Tuesday morning before breakfast, 17 campers went on the lake swim or kayaking. What a wonderful way to start the day! The first faculty concert is at Salisbury Congregational Church this Thursday night at 7:30, public welcome. Photos:
